From your first year, you’ll explore the cultural, economic, environmental and sustainable factors that underpin the world of fashion while learning practical techniques that you can utilise in many roles. These include drape, fabric manipulation, constructed textile, pattern cutting and garment manufacture. During this fashion design course, you’ll learn how to take the concepts you design through drawing and illustration work and create marketable products. Additionally, you’ll study portfolio presentation and computer-aided design.
